Hi, my name is Ely, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s desperate plea for help. My sweet little girl, Calli, is only 2 years old, and she is struggling every single day.
She can’t breathe through her nose at all. Eating is exhausting for her. Drinking is painful. She barely sleeps because she wakes up gasping for air. And worst of all—she can’t hear. I have to raise my voice just for her to understand me, and it breaks my heart to see her so disconnected from the world around her.
Doctors have told me she needs urgent surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids and to have grommets placed in her ears. Without it, she will continue to live in pain, struggling to do the things every child should be able to do with ease. As there is a 18 month waiting list to have surgery in a public hospital, we have no choice but to have the surgery in a private hospital. The cost of this surgery is $6,000—an amount that, as a single mom, I simply cannot afford on my own.
I’m asking for help because Calli deserves relief. She deserves to breathe freely, to enjoy her meals without pain, to hear laughter and music, and to sleep peacefully. Every donation, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to the care she urgently needs.
If you can’t donate, please share. Help me give my little girl the chance to live without pain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
