The goal is simple and full of love: to donate 10,000 Hot Wheels cars to kids receiving medical care.

So far, 3,000 cars have already been delivered.

THE HEART BEHIND THIS MISSION

My dad, Mickey Beach, is the person behind this. He’s a longtime educator, a Red Bridge Lions Club member, and someone who has always believed in showing up for kids. This year he set out to collect and donate 10,000 Hot Wheels cars because he wanted hospitalized children to have something fun to look forward to.

Recently, my dad found himself facing his own serious health challenges, including months of treatment and eventually back surgery. While he’s working hard to heal, he hasn’t been able to fundraise or collect cars the way he once could. But he still talks about the kids. He still thinks about the smiles. And he still wants to reach that 10,000 goal.

That’s why I’m creating this GoFundMe on his behalf.

I want to help him continue what he started.

And I truly believe these kids deserve the joy he hopes to give them.

We often hear from people who have Hot Wheels their kids have outgrown. We appreciate the thought so much. For safety reasons, the cars donated to children in medical environments must be brand new and still in their original packaging. This ensures they’re clean, safe, and ready to be handed directly to a child in care.
