This is a battle cry for our daughter, Talia, and every family crushed by unfairness. At 5 years old, Talia had a severe stroke, leaving her with only half of her brain functioning and left-side paralysis. Doctors told us that she would never walk, talk, or eat on her own again. But Talia laughed in the face of those odds. Today, she struts with swagger, speaks with fire, and savors every bite, a true living testament to courage. Then her employer shattered her heart. They wrongfully fired her, violated the Americans with Disabilities Act, despite knowing of her disabilities, in a blatant act of mistreatment. Claiming she was “on her phone”—a lie we’ve shattered with phone records and photos proving her innocence. This wasn’t just a firing; it was targeted, a cold rejection of Talia’s worth because of her TBI, with no accommodations offered, only a pretext to cast her aside.
I’m her father, a disabled combat veteran who couldn’t let this injustice stand. When I confronted Talia’s supervisor, demanding the truth, her employer unleashed a vicious attack. The supervisor falsely claimed I was aggressive, yelled, left her traumatized, and fearing for her safety, lies, which fueled their attack. One day after I emailed their CEO on March 13, 2025, pleading to clear our names, they banned me and my wife from the facility. Her employer twisted my wife’s hoodie into a baseless accusation, labeling me a “sniper” and her “violent,” justifying an order to call 911 if we stepped on their property. Even sending a state trooper to our disabled son's baseball game to intimidate us. These malicious lies tore through our Baseball community, leaving Talia’s spirit bruised, our family shunned, and our hearts heavy with betrayal. We stood up for our daughter’s rights, and they tried to bully us into silence—but we’re rising stronger and refuse to allow the truth not to be heard any longer.
We’re fighting for our daughter, our families' name, and EVERYONE betrayed by the injustice of a powerful organization like the one we are facing. Our $100,000 goal will cover the legal fees as we take this case to trial. Every penny will go into our attorney’s trust account.
This isn’t just a fundraiser—it’s a movement. Our special needs adults deserve a world that cheers for them, like the crowds at our son’s baseball games. Your $5, $10, or $25 lights the fuse for justice. Can’t donate? Share this with #JusticeForTalia—your share could explode this story across X, TikTok, and beyond, rallying millions to our cause.
It is high time that the little guy shows the world how powerful they are. Will you stand with Talia and our family and let your voice be heard? Donate, share, and let’s remove the unfairness that plagues our communities.
With unrelenting gratitude,
Chad
