My name is Ahmed N, and I’m helping a family in Gaza. This is their message, in their own words:
My name is Yasmine Alshaikh. I’m a mother trying to hold my family together in the heart of Gaza — where hope is vanishing by the day.
We live in a flimsy tent after losing everything — our home, our safety, our future. My husband is gravely ill and needs urgent surgery abroad, but there’s no way for us to reach the care he needs. Every day he grows weaker.
We have no shelter. No income. No medicine. Barely any food. We are surrounded by war, hunger, and death. I try to stay strong for my children, but I don’t know how much longer we can survive like this.
Please — if you’re reading this, know that even a small donation could be the difference between life and death. It could give my husband a chance to live, and my children a chance to grow up in safety.
We are not asking for much — just a lifeline. Please help us make it out of Gaza alive. Help us hold on to hope.
