Hello, my name is John, and I am an elementary teacher in Minnesota. This is my fourth year teaching in the United States—and also my fourth year living away from my family.

Teaching is my calling. Every day, I give my best to my students, helping them learn, grow, and believe in themselves. But while I care for my students, my heart aches for my own family, whom I miss deeply. Being separated from them for four long years has been one of the hardest challenges of my life.

My greatest wish is simple: to be with my family again. I want to bring them here to the U.S. so we can finally live together. Unfortunately, the cost of airfare and visa processing is very expensive. With my current teacher’s salary—and while our green card application is still in process—I do not have enough funds to cover these expenses on my own.

That is why I am asking for your help.
