This Thanksgiving, we’re proud to host the 2nd Annual Taste of Home, bringing comfort and community to students staying on campus at Xavier University, Dillard University, and Southern University at New Orleans. We’ll serve 50–75 students home-cooked favorites like smoked turkey legs, baked macaroni and cheese, yams, green beans, and cornbread.

Beyond the meal, we’re creating a warm, festive experience that celebrates connection, community, and a home away from home. Many students won’t be able to travel this holiday, and your support can help make their Thanksgiving special—providing nourishment, joy, and a sense of belonging. Together, we can make this holiday season meaningful for students who need it most.
