Help a struggling mom
Donation protected
I don't usually ask for help, but I think it's time I did. I've decided to put myself out there and be vulnerable. I recently had to move out of my home and in with a friend and am now taking on more bills. I was off on maternity leave unpaid for 2 months because my job only allows maternity pay once per rolling year. If you know me, you know I had 2 babies back to back. My boys are 14 months and 4 months old, so I didn't qualify for maternity pay the second time around. I've been struggling to catch up on bills since the summer due to this. Not to mention, they accidentally gave me this maternity pay, and now I have to pay them back $200 from every check until the end of the year. It doesn't seem like much, but $200 from every check is 4 cans of formula for my son.
I am behind on my car payments and got an email saying it was reviewed for repossession. I'm not sure what I would do without my car at this point now that I'm on my own and need it to get to work and take the boys back and forth. I also have about $8,000 in medical bills due to Harvee being in the NICU for a month and Charlee being there for a week. I obviously know the medical bills can wait, but it's just another thing I have to think about and that is on my plate right now. My bank account is in the negatives days after being paid due to automatic payments being taken out and buying groceries for the boys.
Basically, I'm asking for help so I can just get caught up on bills, pay rent, and feed my boys during this rough patch we are going through. Any little bit helps. We really appreciate anyone who decides to donate due to the kindness in their heart.
