A Stable loving Home for my little boy

My dear friend, Jess and her fiance ("W") have a court case to get permanent custody of "W"s 5 yr son. (To protect his privacy we will refer to him as "L".)
"W" and the mom had shared custody for 2 years. However, recently the school called him for a conference concerned about his home environment. "W" was also very concerned when some questionable videos surfaced.
Their concerns began to mount when the mom began threatening to take him out of state. They hired an attorney to file an emergent order for "temporary" sole custody and they have the little boy for now. To date they have spent $8,000 for legal fees, doctor & dentist bills in addition to his monthly support.
"W" is determined to get permanent custody of his son to protect him from an unsafe and neglectful environment. Both he and his fiance are employed; but due to the Pandemic their income was drastically reduced.
They have a stable environment with a consistent schedule. Since Jess works from home she's monitoring "L"s remote learning. He was not enrolled in school until they enrolled him!
They love him so much and can provide him with the love, stability and structure he needs and wasn't receiving before. They are asking for $2,000 to cover the fees for the case on 9/29.
I'm reaching out to you and asking for your generosity. I know it's rough for everyone, but any size donation will be gratefully appreciated. They are so afraid of losing him and they need to win this custody case. Please donate for a better home environment so this child can be safe and thrive. Jess is so special to me as she has supported me through the untimely death of her friend and my son.
