Dear Friends and Family,

We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to share something very important regarding our dad, who has been fighting cancer for over a year now. Unfortunately, we recently found out it has spread further. We aren't sure what the future holds for him regarding treatment at this time. We will keep you updated as best we can.

With the treatment he is currently doing his mobility and energy levels have been significantly impacted and we feel that now is the time for him to have meaningful experiences while he is still able.

My parents have always dreamed of visiting Scotland together, and we want to make that dream a reality for them. We are planning to surprise them with a two-week trip to Scotland, allowing them to enjoy each other and the beautiful surroundings without worrying about finances.

To help make this happen, we’ve created this GoFund me account. Our goal is to raise $10,000, which will cover round-trip refundable tickets, a week-long tour, lodging, food, and additional travel expenses to other nearby destinations they'd like to visit. Whatever is left over will go towards helping them pay for medical expenses.

We hope to watch them open the gift of refundable tickets to Scotland, the pamphlet for their tour, and the debit card with the remaining funds they’ll use to explore the places they’ve longed to visit on Chritmas morning so please keep it a secret until then! Every contribution, even a small donation of $10, will make a difference.

We never know how much time we have left, so we want to ensure our dad has this opportunity to create lasting memories with our mom before he is no longer able to.
