Throughout my whole life my mother has been a fighter. She’s always been selfless, loving, strong, courageous, determined, indomitable, a rock. She taught me what it means to be truly strong and she has encouraged me at my lowest points. Now she is fighting the toughest battle of her life and I want nothing more than to help her. She needs a critical open heart surgery this May to survive. Without it the consequences are unthinkable. The weight of this situation is crushing- emotionally, physically, and financially. Asking for help isn’t easy for me, but the situation has become so overwhelming and terrifying that I am extending my hand to anyone willing to offer support.
