It is with great sadness that I share our colleague has sadly passed away following his battle with cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.

One of my colleagues who is a member of the Armed Forces has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

It is the kind of news that stops time.

The kind of illness that does not ask for permission.

The kind that reminds us how fragile life truly is.

He is not just a colleague. He is a father. A husband. A son. A friend.

Cancer does not choose who it touches. It can hit any of us, at any time, without warning. One day life feels normal, the next, everything changes.

As we are in the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of sacrifice, reflection and generosity, I want to do something meaningful for him and his family Instead of keeping my sacrifice personal , I want to turn it into support for this family who are now facing one of the hardest battles of their lives.

They are dealing with hospital visits, emotional strain, uncertainty about the future and the financial pressure that comes with it.

No family should have to face that alone.

I am raising funds to help support them in any way possible, whether it is easing financial burdens, supporting daily living costs, or simply giving them one less thing to worry about during this painful time.

Every single donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
