Hi everyone,
My name is Emily, and I’m raising funds for my sister, Estrella, who has been courageously fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer that had spread. After months of treatments, hospital visits, and unimaginable strength, she is now in remission, with her final chemotherapy session completed in December 2025. While this is a huge milestone and something we are incredibly grateful for, her journey is far from over.
Although she is in remission, the ongoing appointments, follow-ups, and recovery process make it impossible for her to return to work right now. Cancer doesn’t end when chemo ends—it continues to affect every part of life, especially financially. The stress of trying to keep up with everyday expenses while focusing on healing is overwhelming, and no one should have to face that alone.
We are raising funds to help cover essential living expenses, travel costs to and from medical appointments, and basic necessities during this recovery period. These funds will allow her to focus on rebuilding her strength, healing her body, and moving forward without the constant fear of financial hardship.
At just 25 years old, she should be building her future, enjoying the freedom and milestones that come with being young—not fighting cancer or worrying about how to get through each day. Cancer has already taken so much from her: her time, her energy, and the normal life someone her age deserves. Your support helps give something back—peace of mind, stability, and the ability to focus on healing instead of simply surviving. Every donation, share, and prayer reminds her that she is not alone, and that there is still kindness and hope surrounding her. From our family to yours, thank you for standing with her as she continues this journey toward recovery and a life she deserves.
