Asalam alaykum/ hi everyone,

My name is Hafsa, I’m writing this with a heavy heart and a lot of hope.

Someone I care about deeply has recently lost their home and is now facing homelessness. This has been sudden, frightening, and incredibly destabilising. No one ever expects to be in this position, and it’s been heartbreaking to watch someone so kind and deserving go through something this difficult.

Things most of us don’t have to think twice about a warm place to sleep, a proper meal, a shower, clean clothes have suddenly become huge challenges and burdens.

we are raising money to help our dear sister with accommodation, food, and other essentials while they work toward getting back on their feet. This support can be the difference between a little stability and a truly depressing situation of sofa surfing.

With the holy month of Ramadan upon us I do hope you all can dig deep in your hearts to help out. If you’re able to give anything at all, it would mean more than I can put into words. Truly even small amounts add up. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this message could help it reach someone who can.
