My name is Shayla and I am here to raise any amount of funds I can to take any burden off of my sister and niece. My sister is a victim of an awful attack—stabbed multiple times as she was getting her infant out of her car seat after a late shift at work. My sister was found lying on the ground next to her infant (thankfully, the infant was unharmed).

My sister is currently fighting for her life in the ICU while our family is working together to take care of her beautiful baby as she is a single mama.

Our goal is for my sister to not face any financial burden when she overcomes this. This includes, but is not limited to, formula, diapers, rent, bills, and any childcare expenses.

Though there's a long road ahead and she isn't anywhere near out of the woods yet...
