Hi, my name is Boni, and I’m a single mom to my beautiful daughter, D. Right now, we’re staying at a temporary shelter organization, which has given us a safe place while I work to rebuild our lives.

Our time in the program ends March 3, and by then, we need to secure stable housing and financial stability, so D and I don't have to experience homelessness. I'm doing everything I can to make that happen but we need help crossing the finish line.

After being laid off from my job, I fell behind on overdue bills, unable to keep up with living expenses, and debt. Despite the overwhelming stress of it all, I've stayed determined to provide for D a stable upbringing but we can't do it alone.

I’ve been on my own since I was 16. Even through challenges, I made sure to graduate high school and complete two years of college before financial struggles became too much and I paused my education. I’ve always tried to do my best with what I had, but like so many others, a series of tough breaks, setbacks and some poor financial decisions have left me needing a second chance. Now, as our program time comes to an end, I’m doing everything I can to make sure D and I don't lose the progress we've made.

This goal represents a fresh start for us not just survival but stability.
