Hi everyone,

My name is Sheree, and I’m creating this fundraiser for a very special young woman named Faith and her beautiful family.

I’ve had the privilege of being part of Faith's life, and anyone who knows her will tell you that she has the most incredible spirit.

Faith lives with Sturge-Weber syndrome. When she was just six months old she had a stroke-like event, and since then she has continued to live with seizures. She is also visually impaired due to glaucoma, and lives with intellectual and physical impairments.

Despite everything she faces, Faith keeps showing up and reaching milestones in her own way. She works incredibly hard every single day.

However, as Faith is getting older, she is becoming more aware of the things other young people her age are doing — gaining independence, going out on their own, learning to drive, and eventually moving into homes of their own.

These are things that may never be possible for Faith, and that reality can be really hard for her. There are days where she feels this deeply, and as those around her, it’s incredibly hard to watch.

But like any young woman, Faith has dreams.

One of her absolute favourite things to do is decorate. She loves finding little treasures and imagining how she would style her own space. It brings her so much joy.

So her mum had a beautiful idea.

The dream is to create a small vintage caravan on their property that Faith can decorate and call her own — her own little ‘ladies’ lounge’.

A space filled with fluffy blankets, soft cushions, fairy lights, little lamps, and all of her favourite knickknacks. A place where she can feel proud, independent, and at home.

While the property is a beautiful canvas, creating this space for Faith is beyond what her parents Robyn and Shane can do alone. That's why we are coming together - to help make this dream possible.

Faith will always need to be close to family for safety and support, but this little caravan would give her something incredibly meaningful — a sense of independence and something that is truly hers.

We are hoping to raise between $3,000 and $5,000 to make this dream a reality.

This will go towards purchasing a caravan, transporting it, making it safe, and creating a beautiful space that Faith can enjoy and make her own.
