A safe educational place for disabled children in Tanzania

Hi everyone,

We are Nicky Lovista & Dette Uppelschoten. Nicky is a Social Worker and Storyteller, living in Arusha Tanzania. Nicky has been working with disabled children for a long time now and he got a big dream for these kids. Dette is student from the Netherlands. She visited Tanzania last year and completely fell in love with TZS. Nick and Dette met in Arusha and became friends. Now they are collaborating for this beautiful and much needed project.

Let us introduce you to: Odi Africa. A place where they can learn together and grow into beautiful unique people. This place will be both a school and a house for children to live at and receive their suited education. We already got a house in Arusha but ofcourse Odi Africa will need materials for the activities, for example educational materials and kitchen gears for cooking. We hope you can make a small donation for the future of these amazing kids. Around 1.500 dollar will be need for renovating the house, and around 1.500 dollar for materials, gears, educational materials, playground etc.

Nicky has worked at Destiny Foundation for a few years now. It's also a place for disabled kids in Arusha and Odi Africa will be collaborating with Destiny in the future.
