My name is Leanne, and I am a midwife with nearly two decades of experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.

Every day I witness the incredible strength of mothers bringing new life into the world. But I also see something deeply concerning: many women do not have access to the support and care they need during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Across parts of the Middle East, some mothers face pregnancy and birth with limited resources, little education about childbirth, and minimal support. In some cases, women lack access to essential maternal care, safe birth guidance, or even basic items needed to care for their newborn babies.

This fundraiser is the beginning of a mission to change that.

Through the Mother Earth Safe Birth Initiative , the goal is to raise funds that will directly support disadvantaged mothers by helping provide:

• Essential maternity and newborn care supplies

• Midwife-led pregnancy education and support

• Safe birth guidance and maternal health resources

• Emergency assistance for vulnerable mothers and babies

As a midwife, I believe every mother deserves dignity, safety, and compassionate support during pregnancy and birth.

The funds raised through this campaign will help create real, practical support for mothers who need it most.
