A Ride for Rylee

Hi!  My name is Rylee Wade Armstrong.  I am 6 years old.  I was born with a rare disorder called ACC - Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum.  This simply means that the corpus callosum, the part of the brain that connects the two hemispheres (left and right) of the brain, did not form when I was in my mommy's belly.  Because of this, I have some developmental delays and I was born totally blind.  I also have hydrocephalus and had a shunt installed not long after I was born.  I am non-verbal and unable to walk yet, but hopefully I will be able to someday!  My mommy and daddy really need a handicap-accessible van, but they say they are a lot of money and their insurance does not help with this.    My daddy is a hard worker and my mommy works her "31" business so she can be home with me and my brothers, Aiden (4) and Boone (1), but they could really use some help with purchasing a used van.  My mommy has a hard time carrying me and lifting me in and out of my car seat because I'm getting so big…..and she's just a little mama!  I know they love me with all their hearts but because of my uniqueness, it makes their life very difficult.  If you could help in any way, I know they would really, really appreciate it!  If you cannot, do not feel bad, but could you please share this with someone you may know who could?  I know God will bless you for your caring heart because my family will be praying for you!  Thanks for listening!
