A Reminder of What Truly Matters

Donation protected
Firstly, thank God everyone is safe. We are beyond grateful that my sister and her two beautiful boys, Caleb and Liam, made it out unharmed when their home was destroyed by a fire.

Sadly, they lost everything from furniture, clothing, equipment, school supplies, food and nothing could be salvaged. As a single mum, my sister is now facing a considerable challenge, but she’s not doing it alone. With the support of family and friends, she has a temporary roof over her head and the courage to start putting the pieces back together.

She didn’t have household insurance, so right now the focus is survival: replacing the basics like school uniforms, stationery, clothing, food, and other daily essentials just to restore some kind of normality for her and my nephews.

On top of losing her home and every material possession, in her home were the tools that helped her support her family. She runs a small graphic design and signage business from home with my mum, and sadly the fire destroyed all her computers, printers and essential equipment.

If you’re in a position to help, no contribution is too small. Whether it’s a donation, school supplies, clothing, or simply sharing this message every act of kindness truly matters to us.

Times like these remind us of what really matters: family, community and the strength we find in one another.
