We are asking for the support of our community to make the dream of a beautiful quinceañera (my daughter) come true. First, I will share a little bit of our story, in case you don't know us...
Last year, thanks to God, we were granted asylum in this country, and this month we are beginning the process of obtaining more stability by applying for a green card. During the previous year, my daughters and I have dedicated ourselves to studying, learning English, adapting to our new life, and, as a single mother, I have been working hard in different jobs, helping other migrants like us, and strengthening our faith in God despite all the barriers we have faced. Along the way, we have been very blessed to meet wonderful people like you who are reading this. That is why we are asking for the help of our community.
In our country the tradition of family and community contributing to the expenses of the celebration, is a gesture of love and solidarity, this means for the quinceañera that she won’t walk alone but is surrounded with love and support.
In our culture it is very important to celebrate the tradition of quinceañeras for young women, as it signifies a transition from childhood to adulthood, and entering a new stage in life.
The quinceañera is an absolutely wonderful girl who always gets excellent grades and awards in science class. She has a noble heart and is always sharing love with all living beings around her, as she also loves animals and keeps them in her prayers too. She loves music and is learning to play the violin, loves to paint, act, dance, and when she grows up she wants to be a pilot (she has known this since she was very young).
Reasons why you should make a donation:
- She is very sweet and kind.
- She likes to take care of others.
- She is a very good student.
- She is funny and always makes other people smile.
- You will help fulfill a little girl's dream.
- When she becomes a pilot, she will give you a ride.
- We don't have family here, but we have this beautiful community
- She is the best big sister.
- She always lovingly helps me take care of other moms' babies when we support them because they are in need.
- You will support a family adapting to life in another country.
DID YOU KNOW?
She painted the cowboy's jeans on the famous mural celebrating Tucson's 100th anniversary.
She received such high marks in her English class that her school offered her the opportunity to take another class instead (ballet).
She is her friends' psychologist and is very optimistic, always encouraging them and giving them good advice.
She gave the closing speech at her middle school graduation (in English).
The University of Arizona published one of her poems in their magazine.

Estamos pidiendo el apoyo de nuestra comunidad para lograr el sueño de una hermosa quinceañera (mi hija). Primero voy a compartir un poco de nuestra historia, por si no nos conoces….
Gracias a Dios, ganamos asilo en este país el año pasado, y este mes estamos iniciando nuestro proceso para tener más estabilidad aplicando para obtener la green card. Durante este tiempo, mis niñas y yo, las tres, nos hemos dedicado a estudiar, aprender inglés, establecernos, y yo como mamá soltera a trabajar duro, apoyar a otros migrantes como nosotras y fortalecer nuestra fe en Dios a través de todas las barreras que hemos enfrentado. En nuestro camino, hemos sido muy bendecidas de conocer personas grandiosas como tú que está leyendo esto.
En nuestro país la tradición de que la familia y comunidad ayuden con los gastos de la celebración es un gesto de amor y solidaridad, esto significa para la quinceañera que no camina sola sino rodeada de amor y apoyo.
Por eso nos atrevemos a pedir la ayuda de nuestra comunidad, ya que en nuestra cultura, es muy importante celebrar la tradición de fiesta de XV a las niñas, ya que significa que está pasando una nueva etapa en su vida de niña a adulta.
La quinceañera es una niña maravillosa que siempre saca excelentes notas, premios en ciencias, con un corazón tan noble que siempre está compartiendo amor con todos los seres vivos que la rodean, porque también ama a los animales y pide por ellos en todas sus oraciones. Ella ama la música y está aprendiendo a tocar el violín, ama pintar, actuar, bailar y cuando sea grande quiere ser piloto (lo tiene claro desde que era muy pequeña).

SABIAS QUE?
Ella pintó los pantalones vaqueros de un cowboy en el famoso mural que celebra los 100 años de Tucson.
Ella sacó tan altas calificaciones con su avance en ingles, que su escuela ofreció que ella tome otra clase en su lugar (Ballet)
Ella es la psicóloga de sus amigos y es muy optimista y siempre está dándoles ánimos y buenos consejos.
Ella dio el discurso final en su graduación de middle school (en inglés).
Publicaron un poema que ella escribió en la revista de la Universidad de Arizona.
