Hi everyone, my name is Mimi. I have set up this gofundme to help a friend of mine who is a refugee here in Tkaronto (Toronto). She is a long-time community organizer, doing advocacy work for others while she has struggled with housing.

Because of her disabilities and being a queer Black woman, it has been difficult for her to find sustainable work over the past year as she continued to put labour and energy into organizing. She is facing eviction now and has limited options.
