On January 4, 2023, we rushed our mom to the emergency room. She wasn’t talking, moving and head was leaning on her right shoulder. The following day they admitted her in the hospital. Her sugar was 749 and she had pneumonia. She was back talking to us but there were something’s that she was saying was nonsense. Later that night her sugar dropped to 33 and she was back to not responding to us. They was able to get her sugar back to normal levels. About 15 mins later her oxygen level drop to 84 then to 73 so they put her on oxygen. The oxygen wasn’t working so within the next 30 mins they had to put her on a Bipap machine. She was still talking nonsense. At this moment, there was finally a bed open in ICU at St. Francis. The helicopter came and told us it wasn’t safe for her to be on that Bipap machine and that they had to intubate her and put her on a vent. She made it to Memphis. Got a call from the doctor saying they got her on strong antibiotics and fluids. After a week they decided to take the tube out and see can she breathe on her but every time her oxygen level kept dropping. Her sugar kept dropping to 43. At the moment, she started having fluid in her lungs and was going into CHF(Congestive Hearr Failure) her heart was only pumping 35%. On January 18,2023 at 10:30 the hospital calls me saying my coded at 9:15 they did CPR, she coded again an hour later. The nurse practitioner says that she will continue to code. Nurse practitioner said that if she code again they will not do CPR on her. So I called my brother and sisters. We head up there made it by 1 and the nurse told me she passed away at 11:58am. My mom doesn’t have no insurance. So I am asking if you can please help us out so we can properly bury our mom! Will need to be paid by February 1,2023
