Hi im clare a mum to two boys and a teaching assistant from Manchester. At the end of November my beautiful red haired best friend got diagnosed with cancer. At the time we thought this could be treaded with a good round of chemotherapy. Tracy was obviously upset with this diagnosis but was prepared to fight the only thing that really played on her mind was the fact she was going to lose her ginger curly locks. Being her bestie I promised her she wouldn't have to do this alone I was willing to be a slap head with her and raise abit of money in the process.

Unfortunately on the 19th of December the Drs told Tracy and her family that no treatment could be given sadly Tracy paced away on the 26th December with her loving family by her side.

As Tracy passed away so quickly and her family took on all the care I was unsure where the money should go but as Tracy had spent most her working life in childcare I feel she would want to help kids and there families. Francis House is a place close to my heart and Tracy new this. I will be donating my hair to a local charity in Failsworth that makes wigs for kids also.

So please help me raise some money. Let's do something good out of this horrible situation.

Call me brave or call me daft but on Saturday 2nd March I will become a shorter version of my dad Hahaha .
