On July 8th, our world was turned upside down. My boyfriend was detained by ICE while simply doing his job. He didn’t deserve this. He’s not a criminal. He’s a good man who has never caused harm to anyone. He’s a son, a brother, and the heart of our home. He is kind, respectful, and hardworking always willing to help others, never asking for anything in return. Just like anyone he dreamt of building a life filled with love, purpose, and stability.
