We have friends in our community that really need our help. It’s hard for them to ask for help, but I feel they so deserve it. If you have been around the community for awhile, you will know who Shan & D are.. and if you don’t, you are missing out They are the definition of true friends to me. They have been there for me no matter day or night.. even made sure a thanksgiving meal got delivered to me when I was spending thanksgiving in the hospital.. Helped me with getting surgery for my sweet puppy... because that is the kind of people they are. And those people now need our help! After trying to have repairs made to their home to make it livable, they were taken advantage of by contractors and with the circumstances, are currently staying in a hotel with no timeline of when they can go back to their home or even just a home in general. My goal is to help them in any way we can. Whether that be helping gather funds to make sure they have a bed to sleep in at a hotel or help get an apartment, anything to make sure they are okay. I want to gather these donations and gift this to them to let them know we care about them and show them they have a whole community behind them to make sure they are okay. Because they would do the same for me. I just know it. Any bit will help
