Academy Liszt Music Art is the new name given to the historic association that has been operating in the Marche region since 1984, promoting art in all its forms and expressions. Its primary objectives include:
researching and supporting young talents in Liszt piano,
promoting classical music with the aim of raising awareness of the soul and sense of spirituality that only music can convey as a universal language of peace among peoples.
Now at the height of its success after eighteen years of musical and theatrical activities, jazz festivals, youth music festivals, opera and instrumental masterclasses, social outreach, historical research, and opera performances, the association felt the need to revitalize its activities in 2002 by organizing a major cultural event: the Piano Competition dedicated to the famous Hungarian musician Ferenc Liszt, as a sign of lasting gratitude for his praise, in the summer of 1868, of the city of Grottammare (Italy), where he stayed for six weeks. He recalled this in his writings:
"My six weeks spent in Grottammare will remain one of the best and sweetest memories of my life."
