A perfect storm of poo!

Hallo dear ones!

It's me, your ol' pal Dawnathy! I'm going to keep this short and sweet before I lose the nerve to do this.

I am starting my first GoFundMe under protest but with my promise to pay it back to everyone eventually [monetarily or see other exciting options below!] - or at VERY least pay it forward. I'm more than happy to discuss ANY of this in person, over text or call [617-281-5550], smoke signal, etc, but know that truly, things are *mostly* good as you'll read below and there is NO pressure to donate diddly or squat. Times are hard!

Our full story is below, but let's cut the the chase first: This 7k {feels like a dirty penny in my mouth} might be an outrageous amount or it might not be enough but i'll return every cent that's not needed immediately, and will repay everyone in some Dawnariffic or Scottariffic way SOON! Need a hot Dawn injection? I'm not sure what that is but I can create stuff! I can paint you a zazzy multiformat art thingy, sew something or sculpt something! My body is strong like bull and can come do yardwork, arrive at your home in drag and cook awesome meals for you while spinning entertaining yarns and doing a jig. Kids love me and I'm an awesome babysitter! Take me shopping with you! I have great taste and I'm a helluva enabler! Take me to a park with you! Let me clean your house or rental property! Come hang in the yard with me! Come to the beach with me! Haunt a cemetery with me! I literally have a prescription to fill my time with friends and good new habits, so once again you are helping me!

Here is the rundown: Recently the perfect storm of money and soul sucking things have come up and we have no way of dealing with them currently on our own. My sister and dad have been amazingly carrying and supporting us in so much of this but it's kind of snowballed. I had to leave my great job suddenly about 3 months ago as I had to REALLY focus emergency-style on my mental health and alcohol issues that had both gotten pretty dark. With the support of a team of fabulous professionals, i'm now on a miraculous medication that has helped me remain happy and booze free for 3 months. Mr. P has also been out of work, and he has been a godsend in helping me carve out new pathways in my brainmeats and developing strong daily habits. He's smart like that!

Recently, his unemployement unexpectedly ended, our truck crapped the bed (and totally wiped us out to get fixed), house taxes are overdue and last but definitely not least, our kitty son of 12 years is super sick and we need to take him to the vets. Like, tonight. This is our absolute priority and we have no idea how much this could cost but if we can, we will do anything to save him. Hannibal is our baby.

So yeah! We are both actively looking for and are capable of getting employment (as you know) but if you can help out in the meantime, that would be AWESOME and like, i'm already out of my mind with gratitude. I will keep everyone updated every step of our journey through here and on FB.

I'm trying not to rush as I strike out on this glorious un-booze hindered path, so bear with me. Keeping myself on an onward trajectory in every way I can, so seriously, thank you so much from my very heart. Personally, this has been a stupid hard but worthwhile journey and I can say for the first time in a long time, I'm glad to be alive. Really. Good things are coming and I'm so grateful for all these chances I've been given and that you have all kept this lil goblin somehow. Woof. Honesty is scary but if you've made it this far, you deserve to see it all, baby.
