Hi everyone,

My name is Lydia, and I’m writing this with so much love and hope in my heart for my older brother, Joey. If you’ve ever met him, you know he has the sweetest smile and the cutest laugh. He truly lights up every room he’s in.

Currently, one of the biggest challenges our family faces is transportation. My mom's van, which we have relied on for years to get Joey around, is falling apart and is frequently in the shop for repairs. The cost of these repairs has now exceeded the van's value.

A wheelchair-accessible van would change Joey’s world. It would mean being able to go to doctor’s appointments without the fear of breaking down. It would mean joining in on family gatherings, outings, and simple joys without barriers. Most importantly, it would give him safety, dignity, and the freedom he deserves.

The hardest part is the cost. Wheelchair vans are incredibly expensive and can range anywhere from $50,000 to $70,000 if not more. This is far more than our family can manage alone, which is why I’m reaching out for help.
