Hello everyone, my name is Sharee and I am Terry's daughter and caregiver. In 2010, my mom had a stroke and she lost her ability to walk and talk. Doctors told us that she was a vegetable and how we see her was how she would remain, so they wanted us to pull the plug! But my siblings and I were not going for that, so we prayed and stayed by her side, and she pulled through. All praises to The Most High God!

Fast forward, I have been taking care of her since. She is always in good spirits. Every time we go somewhere, everybody always says they just love her because she will have you laughing even though she can't talk! She doesn't let this disability affect her; she's very outgoing. She loves to get up and go with me whether it's grocery shopping, getting her hair done, or going to a family event. We were able to do just that until our van became unsafe. My mom keeps me going, real talk, and she stays positive with a smile always, and I wanna keep it that way.

So the reason we are doing a GoFundMe is because I purchased a wheelchair van and unfortunately, the frame is rotted out and we are trying to purchase a new one. Wheelchair vans are very expensive. I got approved for a new one, but with my old van, it put negative equity on top of the new van, and my bank wouldn't approve the full amount. So I am asking for help to put a down payment on the new van. We really appreciate anyone who can help, and even if you can't help, just share this post and that will also be greatly appreciated.
