Hello! My name is Mary. I decided to start this fund because I am completely out of options, and we need help! My family and I need a new roof terribly. We’ve been trying to save for the last 3 years to eventually have it done, and things just keep coming up. So we’ve had to use our “roof fund” for other family issues. I’m just defeated, and I don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried looking into loans and grants for emergency roof repairs, you name it, I’ve looked into it.

Every time it rains, I have a stream that, at times, can seem like a river when it rains hard enough, that runs down into my living room, another stream into mine and my children’s closets, and a third stream in the attic. We can’t do anything to fix this cheaply. Believe me, we have tried. Our house is not very big and needs work, but we are proud of it. And we can’t even start to fix anything else in the house because we can’t even have a finished ceiling in rooms because of the water leaking. If anyone sees this and has the opportunity to be generous enough to help us, we would greatly appreciate it. This is the only option I haven’t tried, so I have to, for my family. Thank you!!!
