A new red slide

We have now reached our target, thank you to all who donated.  Read our updates to find out how we succeeded.

This was our original appeal:

Well over 1,000 bottoms slid down the red slide at Troopers Hill during its 30-year life.  Sadly it rusted away last year and Bristol City Council have no funds to buy a new slide and safety surfacing.

Friends of Troopers Hill  are asking your help to raise £10,000 to add a very similar slide next to the play area on Troopers Hill Field.

If every person who has used the slide donated £10 we would more than exceed our target and the next 30 years of children could have the same fun that you did.

Please help and get in touch if you would like to publicise your own fundraising ideas.

We will keep the appeal open for 2 years but it would be great to reach the target quickly so children don't miss out .  If we fail to reach the target or exceed it we will use the funds for children's activities on Troopers Hill.

A huge thank you to everyone who donates.
