Since 1910, Garrett Williamson's mission has been to enrich the lives of children and families in the greater Philadelphia area through quality and inclusive educational, environmental, and recreational programs. Justin has chosen Garrett Williamson, and specifically, the fire pit used by Camp Garrett, for his Eagle project. Justin is currently a Life Scout in Troop Devon 50, working toward his Eagle rank, and an honor student at Conestoga High School.

Funds raised will be used to purchase materials for the building and installation of an enlarged and improved fire pit area at Garrett Williamson. Highlights of this project include extending the existing fire area 8 feet in both length and width, building and installing all-new Adirondack-style benches, and replacing the existing fire ring with a new, larger stone ring.

Camp Garrett is located in Newtown Square, PA on 240 beautiful acres. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and emphasizes health and wellness, collaboration and respect for others and the outdoors.  They believe that each child should have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential, regardless of financial means. About half of their campers receive a full or partial scholarship to attend each year.

Funds raised exceeding the costs for the fire pit will be donated directly to Garrett Williamson for the Camp Garrett scholarship program.
