Two weeks ago, my life and my family’s life changed forever. During the bombing of Nasser Hospital, my sister was critically injured in her stomach. She underwent surgery, and one of her kidneys had to be removed. She now lives with only one kidney, and every day is a struggle for her. My own body was injured as well; my foot was severely hurt, leaving me with slow and painful movement, making even simple tasks a challenge.
The pain and loss did not stop there. A few days ago, my brother was martyred in another bombing. In a desperate attempt to recover my grandfather’s body, we faced unimaginable horrors dogs had marginalized him, and tragically, both my grandfather and my brother were killed. Our family has been torn apart, and the weight of grief is unbearable.
As winter approaches, we face yet another challenge. We have no shelter, no tent to protect us from the cold nights and harsh weather. Each day is a battle for survival, not just against hunger and exposure, but against the immense sorrow and trauma that surrounds us.
We are reaching out to kind, compassionate people who can help us overcome these hardships. Your support could help provide shelter, medical care, and the basic necessities that we desperately need to survive. Every small act of kindness can give us hope, help us heal, and allow us to continue living our lives with dignity.
Please, if you can, help us. Your generosity could save our lives and give us the chance to rebuild what war has taken from us.
