A New Home for KKIDS,LLC
Donation protected
God answered their prayers finally. They found a new home that requires loads of Love. In order to accomplish this, KIDDS, LLC needs to raise funds. Their prayers have been answered with this home being presented in their path. It was meant to be.
Karen Reynolds Scott and her Husband Bruce work miracles every day. For over a decade, this volunteer foster and adoptive family has housed dozens and dozens of children in a small, 3-bedroom 2 bath home on a busy street with no yard and they are breaking the cycle! They have welcomed every age, ethnicity, and many sibling groups into their home and have loved each one of these kids as their own. They have broken the cycle in many lives, have helped so many families recover from addiction and abuse, and have seen milestones that never would have occurred were it not for their intervention.
They continue investing every ounce of energy and every cent they make to the betterment of the lives of these kids and their families and they DO NOT TAKE government funding for what they do because it affects the benefits received by the bio families who are already struggling. There are kids - siblings- that they would like to foster right now but can't because they have no more room. There are other children available for adoption, waiting for a forever home that they would welcome but can't. These abused and neglected kids would flourish in this family but they need a LARGER HOUSE in order to meet the requirements from DCF.
Why don't they just go buy a house? Not so easy !!! They are limited to a particular neighborhood because of the private school where the kids attend on scholarships and because Bruce is an elected official to the LCMCD in District 7 of Lee County. This restricts them from buying a house anywhere, and the houses in their particular neighborhood are more expensive than what they qualify for on a self-employed auctioneer's income. They have found a house that would work, but it is unfinished and needs the help of everyone who believes in their mission to come together and make it happen for them. If they are able to secure the house, they will need donations of time and materials to finish it.
We, their community, can do this! If every person reading this contributed what they could, it would add up to what they needed. Please donate, share this link. We can finally make dreams come true.
