A New Home for Make Music Ellensburg

We are a community-based music school, offering lessons, classes, & events for all ages. Currently, we serve about 220 weekly students - about half in private lessons & half in our group classes & ensembles. Our seven highly-qualified teachers are also gigging professionals & fantastic people who believe in the magic of music-making.
We opened our doors downtown in Ellensburg, WA, on Oct 1st, 2021 after being lucky enough to find a dilapidated old theater that supported our mission. We knew this time would come, but we'd hoped we'd have a little more time for this transition... The theater had been for sale for years & there's a new owner coming in who has other plans for the building! We are forced to move with just a few months to plan & build our new home.
In our search for a downtown location (because being involved in this vibrant community is a value of ours), we've learned that: 1. We have very specific needs. 2. We are going to need some help. On the bright side, this is a fabulous opportunity to make our "forever home" just right for us (& I'll certainly keep you updated on our progress).
Our first fundraising goal of $10k will help us get through the summer with some stability for our incredible teaching staff. Thank you so, so much.
