Hi, my name is Damian. My wife, my son, and I have been living with family for about six years. We've been trying to get out, but every time we try, either our money goes missing or someone in the family is mentally abusive or threatening. We went to the police, but they don't believe us. We have no choice but to live with them because we have nowhere else to go. We were homeless for a little while and had no choice but to come back to their house.

We have a son, and he has his own. room. They treat him like an angel and treat him well, but they treat me like garbage because I'm an outsider and not successful. I only have a Home Depot job that pays $17 an hour. While I'm trying to find a second job, it's tough because my hours are very fluctuating I’m just trying to give my family a better life instead I feel like I’m letting them I need to give them a better place to live a space where my wife feels comfortable and not overwhelmed please whatever you can give I will gladly appreciate it.

I've been trying to save money to build enough to look up how to make money on the side, but it just won't work. No matter how many times I try, I never get close to even getting enough money to put away for an apartment. I never had really good role models, and I'm trying to be better than them, but it's tough, especially with my autism and ADHD.

I'm trying to do everything I can. Every dime I make goes straight to my wife and kids. I don't even put myself first anymore, as long as they have everything and the bills are paid. But they need their own space. My son has his own room, but my wife and I share the living room. We're just trying to get on our own and live better, but we have no help. It's just me and her.

We are fundraising to get our own place and provide a better living environment for our family.
