During times like these, we need community now more than ever. Please help us as we raise some funds for our beloved community member, Ana. We are keeping her last name and information private as we do not want to put her in any danger due to the ICE raids/circumstances here in Los Angeles.

I met Ana when I hired her through a friend’s recommendation and since then I have come to know her as a friend. She is here in this country without her family and due to unforeseen circumstances, she must move apartments which means she needs funds for deposit, first months rent and moving costs. More importantly she needs to find a place where she can bring her beloved dogs and cat; her companions and main source of love.

Ana came to me asking if we could loan her some funds to move and I know how incredibly hard it was for her to ask for help. It is my greatest wish that our extended community can raise these funds for her as a gift. She does not know that we want to gift her this money, as I know she is a hardworking individual who does not want to accept handouts. However, I am a true believer that we all need each others help in this world, now more than ever.
