It has been sneaking into the back of our homecrew pictures for 14 years. It has cooled our leftovers, chilled our water, and refrigerated around 100,000 eggs (I did the math).
BUT, if you can't stand the heat, you have to get out of the kitchen, so we sadly said goodbye to our Saturn commercial fridge this week.
This Sunday, while we prepped for St. Ignatius (San Francisco) to join us for the week, the fridge stopped working. After so many DIY, semi-professional, and professional repairs, we learned the parts are no longer available to repair the fridge.
We were able to find a replacement here in town on Monday (shout out to Index Restaurant Supply in River Market), but the $3,000 price tag was not an expected expense!
Join us as we wave goodbye to a faithful servant and welcome a new workhorse. Donations of any size will help us keep our produce fresh!
Also, speaking of eggs... enjoy all the easter eggs in the photo collage!
