Hello, my name is Rose and I'm raising money to secure better living conditions for my disabled mother, Helen, & myself.

In 2008 my mother purchased a fixer-upper mobile home with the intention of providing a stable home for her children. A few years after some renovations were made, my mother sustained a workplace injury that left her permanently disabled, and unable to work. During the first half of 2025 a water main broke on our home's plot of land during a storm. The mobile home was shifted off its foundations, and despite attempts by contractors to make repairs, the ground was so saturated that the house continues to shift after rainy weather. This shifting has led to seals on windows breaking, causing rainwater to leak underneath walls, and onto the floor.

Due to how state, and federal, laws handle mobile home ownership, we have no way of pursuing legal actions to cover the cost of repairing the damage done to the house. We also do not have enough funds to move if we were to sell it.

My ultimate goal is to raise enough money to move somewhere safe, and sell the mobile home.
