First and foremost, I'm not the one to ever ask for help, but we have hit a point where we have exhausted all options from out of our own pockets. My mom needs help. We finally got her back up into IL from Kansas City, where she was not living in an ideal situation along with her grandkids she has custody of. We found her a place, and while on the way up here, her only form of transportation is now abandoned on the side of the road and not fixable (it was an old car anyway). She's in need of a new car, washer, dryer, fridge, beds, dressers . I'm not asking for funds for anything elaborate, literally the bare minimum. I just want her to get on her feet and start working to be able to get a job up here along with the kids. If you are able to donate in any way, we would be forever grateful
