Hello, my name is Shalene Francis. I am a mom of two incredible boys, and together, we are taking steps toward a new life—a life free from fear and filled with hope.

I made the choice to leave an abusive relationship. It wasn’t easy, but I knew it was the right thing for my children. We are starting over with very little, but we are rich in determination and love.

This fundraiser will help us with:

Safe housing and basic needs (right now a hotel room until something permanent comes along, we are looking to buy a house and would need help with a down payment)

Food for the boys and I as we will not have space for leftovers while staying in a hotel room.

Any amount you can give means the world to us. If you can’t donate, sharing our story is a tremendous help too.
