Hello, I’m Jessica. I'm 38, I have 3 school-aged children, and I’m recently separated from my husband of 13 years. That went bad, and myself and my children had to leave for safety. We have been homeless for over a year now, and recently I was approved to move into what I hope is our new home and a new beginning for the children most of all, but for myself as well.

I’m asking for help from my community to reach the first month’s rent and security deposit. Yes, I have a job that I work full-time. I also pay weekly fees to have a roof over their heads right now in not the best of places and pay too much to feed us because we have no place to cook a decent meal. If you could find it in your heart and budget, please assist; everything helps. I want to just have the opportunity to give my children better than homelessness.
