Until now, I've always stayed afloat. But last month my car's engine failed leaving me stranded with years of finance payments still ahead and no warranty coverage due to a minor service delay. Living in a remote area, there's no public transport, no Uber, no delivery services - just costly taxis or car hire from the next town over which is also where I work. It's been more expensive to get to work than what I earn, and now I'm faced with impossible choices: pay rent, buy food or get to work.

I never imagined I'd start a GoFundMe, never like asking for help, but now I'm desperate. I'm not looking for much - just enough to buy a safe, second-hand car so I can work without drowning in debt or risking homelessness.
