My name is Pasion Campbell, and I’m a single mother doing everything in my power to keep my two baby boys safe and healthy—but I’m running out of options, and I need help.

Isaiah is just 6 months old, and his short life has been full of pain and struggle. He’s been in the PICU with respiratory failure, diagnosed with pneumonia and bronchitis over and over again. Recently, doctors discovered that every time Isaiah eats, he silently aspirates—meaning food is going into his lungs instead of his stomach. This is why he keeps getting so sick. Soon, he’ll be getting a G-tube placed so he can eat without it hurting him. As a mother, there is nothing more heartbreaking than watching your baby fight to breathe—and not being able to take the pain away.

In the middle of all this, I’m also caring for my oldest son, Fabian, who is just 20 months old. He’s our sunshine—he gives the best hugs, the brightest smiles, and somehow manages to lift me up even on the darkest days. He loves his baby brother, who he calls “Bubby,” and he reminds me why I have to keep pushing forward.

But I’m completely alone in this. The boys’ father and his family have chosen not to be involved at all. Every doctor’s visit, every sleepless night, every bill—I face it all by myself. Right now, I’m behind on everything except this month’s rent. Our utilities and car payments are overdue. Gas for appointments, food, diapers, wipes, formula—it’s all becoming impossible to keep up with. I’m terrified that soon, we won’t even have lights or water.

I’m not someone who likes to ask for help. But for my sons, I will do anything—even share our story with the world. I’m asking for $5,000 to help us stay afloat while I get Isaiah the care he needs and continue providing for Fabian. Every donation—no matter how small—makes a difference.
