Recently, Robert was put on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. It’s been a challenging and emotionally draining journey, but we are truly blessed.

I received a heartbreaking phone call on Friday, Valentine's Day, from Alma, our amazing cleaning lady. She called me to let me know that her daughter was dying and that she wanted Robert’s information to see if they might be a match. I was deeply moved by her selfless act. In the midst of her pain and sorrow, she thought of us, and I was both thankful and heartbroken at the same time. I can only imagine what she’s going through, and my heart goes out to her. No one should have to endure the pain of losing a child.

Robert was a match. He is still currently recovering from surgery, and everything is going well. Alma deserves the world. Alma and her 2 grandbabies will forever be in our prayers. Please, if you can help with anything, it would be appreciated.
