Dear Friends, Family, Elora Community Members and Supporters Far and Wide,

Please read my story in full to understand and help me Stand Up for Justice:

In November 2025, just weeks before Christmas, I experienced an unexpected, unethical, life changing, employment dismissal from a "company" in Elora. Left with no paperwork, agreements to pay me until the end of my contract, no contact at all and served me a letter indicating that if I wanted to discuss any matters I need to hire a lawyer, otherwise I would be charged with harassment if I contacted the "company" or any of its staff members or employees personally. I was also told if I came near or on any of the "companies" properties I would be charged with trespassing.

I am reaching out for help now, as for several months I have been extremely afraid to speak up, as the well-known "company" I worked for threatened me via text, and letters from their lawyer stating I am not allow to discuss my dismissal or the actions that took place against me. As a Widow, a Mother with children, a career oriented individual and proud worker, I was in shock, devastated, not knowing what to do. With the help of my family members, and close community members I was able to get through the last several months, and I am now mentally, and physically stronger and capable of standing up for justice.

Earlier, in May of 2025, I was recruited from a stable job that I absolutely thrived at and loved, in our area. I was uncertain to leave this stable job at first, however, I was provided with an offer that was incredible, and the new "company" explained they wanted me to grow with them in their company over the next 10 years. I accepted the offer as I truly believed this was a professional move in the right direction for me and my family. This decision was made in good faith, based on the information provided to me at the time of signing.

I dedicated my skills, past business development experience, hours and professional abilities to this "company" going above and beyond as

I have always done with all my contracts and jobs. I often worked lots of overtime for this "company" even when I wasn't supposed to, but for months I was on my own, at the end of my shift, there was no other employee coming to cover me. Again I am afraid to get into any details in order to protect myself and my family. Despite these hurdles, I remained positive and dedicated to my job.

About 6 months later, on November 4th, I was at work in the morning, all the lights were off, and drawers and cupboards locked with my personal items inside them. I was told over the phone my position was no longer needed and it was now obsolete. I was told not to ask questions, and my call was recorded, and I am not to discuss any matters. This decision came without explanation and resulted in sudden unemployment during one of the most financially and emotionally challenging times of the year.

As a Widow and a Mother of 2 daughters, the sudden loss of income has had a direct and substantial impact on my family's financial stability. I am solely responsible for supporting my children, and this sudden change has created considerable hardship and financial uncertainty for me and my family.

At the time of the "companies" decision, I did not receive any documentation, an explanation, compensation, I was locked out of my personal employee information system, I was not provided any financial support during a time of career transition period which is usually provided during a situation such as this.

During that time I was afraid to share any details as I felt threatened by the "company" after receiving texts and legal documentation indicating that if I continued to ask for an explanation I would be charged with harassment and many further discussions would have to be completed with legal council. These experiences left me afraid to speak up or even share what was happening with my own community.

In order to proceed I have sold my personal items and family heirlooms to pay for my retainer. I recently have regained confidence in myself, confidence to speak up, and confidence to stand up for justice. I am starting this Go Fund Me campaign to help with the associated costs of pursuing my Wrongful Dismissal Claim as well as, Human Rights Claims, employer acted in a malicious, unfair, or untruthful manner during or immediately following the termination.

Aggravated/Moral Damages: Seek to compensate the employee for distinct mental distress or reputational harm caused directly by the employer's bad behavior.

Funds Raised will be used for the following expences:

-Legal consultation and representation fees

-Legal administration

-Documentation preparation and related expenses

-Outstanding Legal Fees currently owing

-Basic Financial support during this time of transition

-Basic Family Needs

I do not want to create conflict, all I have ever asked for was fairness, accountability, justice, and the ability to move forward in my own community of Elora with dignity while protecting my family and children's wellbeing!

I am deeply grateful to the members of the Elora and surrounding communities who have shown kindness, encouragement, and support during this time. Your compassion has given me strength and reminded me that I am not alone in navigating this difficult chapter. I do not take asking for help lightly. Regardless of my life's challenges, I have always worked hard to support my daughters, with independence and resilience. However, there are times when community support becomes essential in order to move forward.
