A Mother's Battle for Justice and Freedom

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, a strong and dedicated single mother of two beautiful kids—a sweet little girl and a bright, energetic boy. She is currently facing an incredibly unfair situation: she’s sitting behind bars because of a false accusation made in a moment of emotion and fear. The person who made the claim—her boyfriend at the time—has since admitted that what he told the police wasn’t true, but it’s already done serious damage.

This amazing woman has been through so much and fought so hard to build a better life for herself and her children. Over the past year, she’s battled through mental health challenges, lost over 70 pounds on her wellness journey, and even got a companion dog to help her healing process. She never gave up—especially when it came to showing up for her kids. She’s the kind of mom who puts her children first in everything: attending every school meeting, working hard to support them, creating a loving and safe home, and teaching them what it means to be strong and kind.

Back in January, the court non-processed the charges after the truth came out. But now, months later, she was unexpectedly taken back into custody—despite the case having already been non-processed in court. There’s been a complete breakdown in communication between the jail, the court system, and her court-appointed attorney. She was supposed to have a bond hearing today, but now she’s being forced to sit another week in jail, away from her kids, because of pure miscommunication.

Unfortunately, it’s not just the legal system failing her. Her leasing office’s mismanagement and poor communication skills led to her electricity being shut off. This is tied to an incident last year where a former property manager physically assaulted her but falsely claimed she was the aggressor. That manager has since stepped down because of this incident, but the damage was already done.

To make matters even worse, her mother just had three stents placed and is struggling to recover—emotionally and physically overwhelmed by everything happening. Our friend is not only a loving mom, but also a hardworking woman with clients depending on her. She had just passed her first semester of nursing school this year and was finally getting back on her feet when all this happened.

We are asking for your help to get a good paid lawyer, cover legal fees and bond support so that she can be reunited with her kids. Every donation brings her one step closer to being back with her children—where she belongs. They miss their mom deeply. They don’t understand why she isn’t home, and their whole world feels turned upside down.

Please help us fight for justice and bring this incredible mom back to her babies. If you can’t donate, sharing this post goes a long way. Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support.
