Hi everyone, my name is Mikayla, and I’m a loving mom fighting to bring my children home. I have been a mother since I was 15 I’m now 23 it’s all I’ve ever known I’ve always been on my own and my children are my entire life. Recently, my children’s father (my past abuser who has also abused our children before) and has been absent most of their lives and has never paid child support—was granted full custody of our four children. I’ve raised them on my own, always putting their needs first, and I only moved two hours away to give them a more stable and safe home. Despite this, I was found in contempt of court for the move, I didn’t notify the courts in time, although I never have held the children from their father he still got to see them on court order rotating weekends, and now I’ve lost custody and have been ordered to pay child support to someone who never supported them. I need to hire a lawyer to fight for what’s right and bring my children back to the safe, loving home they deserve.
