We want to give a small update of our court situation.
A very significant phase in the legal process has recently been resolved, and we are very grateful for everyone who helped our friend get through the suspense of it.
At the same time, the situation is not over fully, and there may still be steps ahead.
The legal costs have reached the range of a medium annual salary – its a lot !! But they are not expected to grow anymore and we are keeping the goal reachable for a monthly payment to a law firm.

The story starts here..
Sometimes life forces a mother to make impossible choices. Our friend found herself alone in a foreign country, trying to protect her young child while enduring the pain of living with a partner who was abusive and struggling with alcoholism.
When she finally found the courage to break free and seek safety, she realized she could not return to her home country — conflict and instability made it unsafe. With no home to go back to and no family support close by, she had to rebuild her life from scratch in another country, carrying only her child and the hope of a life free from fear.
Her child is brave but has a health condition that requires daily attention — needing stability, care, and protection more than ever. Away from violence, mother and child finally began to find peace. But that peace is now under threat: she is facing a difficult and costly legal battle to ensure her child’s right to safety and a healthy future.
She already has a committed lawyer by her side, but the process is long and her previously granted free legal hours have expired — leaving her responsible for the remaining costs of her case.
Because of ongoing legal and safety concerns, we are not sharing pictures or personal details about her or her child. We hope for everyone’s understanding and trust that this privacy is necessary to protect them both.
That is why we are creating this campaign — to help our friend fight this battle with dignity and hope.
